- STP – IEEE 802.1d/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s
- VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad
- IP addressing and sub netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR.
- Working knowledge with routing protocols – RIP V1/V2, OSPF
- IS-IS, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, RSBP, LDP
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Knowledge with IPsec VPN, IPS, UTM, AppSecure will be a plus
- Experience with Windows security, Netscreen Juniper or other Vendor Firewalls will be a plus
