Your key accountabilities

 ·        Oversee the management & integrity of the accounting control systems. 

·        Ensure successful annual external audit & support the annual close of the parent company.  

·        Interact with business unit analysts to insure accuracy and completeness of financial results.  Assist business units & accounts payables with operational problems (intercompany billings, vendor billings, etc.) that affect financial results.

·        Continuously seek out, suggest and implement opportunities to improve processes and controls.

·        Ensure structures & controls in place to manage the external payments functions in an effective manner. 

·        Remain current on thelatest tax & financial reporting regulations and implications, and proactively propose effective strategies for compliance.

·        Manage tax incentives & rebate programs

·        Ensure timely compliance with tax and regulatory filing and respond to regulatory inquiries in consultation with stakeholders and advisors as appropriate.

·        Maintain effective systems for forecasting, controlling and reporting on cash requirements.

·        Complete special projects/assignments as required.

·        Develop and train local team to ensure a highly motivated and competent accounting function.

Your skills and experience

·        Superior knowledge of accounting principles including Chinese IAS & US GAAP

·        Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills required.

·        Proven track record in leading high potential teams. 

·        Strong attention to detail and well organized.

·        Comfortable working with large volumes of data and automated accounting systems.

·        Ability to multi task, work under pressure and hit deadlines.

·        Proven track record of developing high performance teams

·        Experience preferably in MNC setting

·        Knowledge of Oracle Financials or other ERP

·        Preferably worked in a matrix organization with the ability to liaise with business partners and stakeholders

·        Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience

·        Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with preference of an advance degree in Finance or MBA
